Scope
The Conference offered an open forum to examine how to prevent and minimize asbestos risks to humans and the environment in both a national and international context. In addition, the Conference explored measures for quantifying and managing ACMs contained within 21st century infrastrctures.
 

Outcomes
About 156 experts from 17 different countries participated in the Conference. The 60 oral contributions and 15 posters provided an open forum for the topics discussed.
