Task 6: Task Management and reporting to the EC

Results

Meetings with the partners, both the coordination meetings and more technical ones on specific actions on encounterd problems, have been hold each time the usual e-mail or telephone contatcs were felt to be insufficient. Concerning the technical tasks, relationships with ISPESL (pubblic insitution) and Barricalla (participated public company) have always been good, marked by willingness and flexibility in tackling the different problems the project encountered along its way. With the private companies the situation has been quite different and posed often serious problems. Relationships with Deconta were made difficult by their habit to comunicate through a sort of secretarian/translator. This made the transfer of information slow and gave rise to several misunderstandings. The relationship with IDERE has been problematic due to the total lack of reliability of the owner, as shown by his non-attendance to the monitoring team visits and by the non-payment of the foreseen costs. Bi.Elle. demonstrated a very good willingness to collaborate, even if it had problems to stay on schedule.

As for the relationship with the Commission, all foreseen reports and deliverables were delivered, in some case out of schedule due to delays in certain project actions.
Concerning the financial reports, however, all of the partners complained with the high load of burocratic duties, and find difficult to follow the standard requested by the Commission and to hold the schedule foreseen in the Partners' agreements. The partner Deconta motivated its exit from the project also on this ground.
