THE ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT OF ART AND CULTURE - ICARE
A series edited by Gianfranco Mossetto
and coordinated by Marilena Vecco

The series The Economics and management of art and culture is an initiative belonging to ICARE– the International Center for Art Economics – of the University Ca’ Foscari of Venice. It is aimed at the study of the production, distribution and consumption processes of art and cultural heritage, providing a didactic instrument of in-depth study in this new field.

The formation of a new emerging professional profile, “the cultural manager”, characterized by both historic-artistic and economic-managerial capabilities is the focus of this series. It pays therefore specific attention to didactics (The Instruments Section), as well as to the analysis of real cases (The Case Study Section), and to theoretical aspects (The Research Section).
