SPRING SCHOOL IN BUSINESS

STRATEGIC INFORMATION

The Spring School in Business is addressed mainly to students that have obtained their "laurea magistrale" in recent years, are interested in research in the areas of management studies and consider potential enrolment in a PhD program. In particular, the School will address issues related to how knowledge from distant domains can be recombined and integrated - a process central to strategy, innovation management, knowledge management, and the design of innovative forms of collaboration. The School will bring together International speakers at the frontier of research in such domains with teachers and researchers of the Business programs of the Padova Ph.D. School in Economics and Management (SDEM) and the Scuola Superiore di Economia (SSE). It will cover themes of major interest to students of innovation and strategy, organizations and human resource management, management accounting, new product development and knowledge management.

To facilitate their participation, 10 applicants from outside the Ca' Foscari University of Venice and University of Padova will be offered accommodation (hotel) and lunches by the organisers. (travel costs will not be refunded)  Applicants will be selected on the ground of their curriculum - see below for full application instructions.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Admission to the Spring School will be granted on the basis of successful applications for a maximum of 40 students per School. Separate applications are required for either school. Simultaneous applications to more than one school are possible. Applicants will be selected on the ground of their curriculum.

10 applicants, per school from outside the Ca' Foscari University of Venice and the University of Padova will be offered accommodation (hotel) and lunches by the SSE. Applicants will be selected on the ground of their curriculum - see link below for application instructions.
